Our comprehensive statewide online theater schedules have been given a once-over today, reflecting new titles, date changes, newly announced seasons and even the debut of two new companies (the and the ).

The changes also cover , the , , , and the .

First, here are some handy links you should feel free to bookmark and refer back to anytime. They’re constantly updated, sometimes several times a day:

*All currently running theater productions
*Schedules by company
*Schedules by opening date

So what’s new today? In a nutshell:

*We now know the exact dates that the Broadway touring production of “Hair” will visit the Buell Theatre: Oct. 4-16.

*The Galleria Theatre will host “Five Course Love” (a musical
comedy about five calamitous dates) from Feb. 19-June 19. The Buell will host “The Aluminum Show” (visual theater by an Israeli troupe combining dance, puppetry and illusion) from Feb. 26-27, 2011.

*The two new companies run the spectrum from the specious to the rock-solid. In a town without much union work, local Equity actors Rachel Fowler, Leigh Miller and Jeff Roark are making their own. They’re staging “The Mysterious Mr. Love,” by Karoline Leach, from March 14 through April 1 at the Grant-Humphreys Mansion, in collaboration with Colorado Historical Society. Roark will direct; the others will star in a story about a gentlemanly (seeming) diplomat who is in fact a fortune hunter about to meet his match.

*The more gimmicky new entry is the Cherry Creek Theatre, which will present “Love Letters” in the Shaver Ramsey Showroom (rug store) from Feb. 10-14 (Valentines Day, natch). But they aren’t using actors. They’ll be calling on two different local celebrities each night, including former Denver Bronco Reggie Rivers, entertainer Lannie Garrett, 9News reporter Kirk Montgomery and Denver Post columnist Penny Parker. She’ll be performing with her husband, Greg Henry, who does P.R. for the Denver Zoo after years of working (with me!) as a layout editor in the sports department of The Denver Post.

*The Victorian Playhouse has postponed “The Irish…and How They Got That Way” from a Jan. 7 opening to April 15. That means April’s planned run of “The Mundy Scheme” is scotched, for now.

*Taking the open January spot on the Victorian calendar will be the Afterthought Theatre’s “Waiting to Be Invited,” running Jan. 14-31.

*Equinox Theatre has announced its first full season at the Bug Theatre:
Feb. 25-March 19: “Stop Kiss”
May 27-June 18: “The Little Shop of Horrors”
Aug. 26-Sept. 17: “Reefer Madness, the Musical”
Dec. 9-17: “Musical Shenanigans 2011”

*It’ll be a busy year (or so!) for the Union Colony Dinner Theatre in Greeley:
Feb 4-March 27: “The Fantasticks”
April 8-June 12: “La Cage Aux Folles”
June 24-Sept. 4: “A Chorus Line”
July 10-Sept. 4: “My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra” (Sundays only)
Sept. 9-Nov. 6: “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”
Nov. 11, 2011-Jan. 15, 2012: “Forever Plaid”
Nov. 20, 2011-Jan. 15, 2012: “The Taffetas” (Sundays only)
Feb. 3-April 22, 2012: “Rumors”
May 4-July 22, 2012: “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”
May 20-July 22, 2012: “Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash” (Sundays only)

*Maggie Stillman’s new Byers-Evans House Theatre Company will be presenting an original play, simply titled “Love,” from Jan. 28-Feb. 19.

*And finally, BurlyCute brings back its “Too Sexy for the Stock Show Burlesque” for a second year at Bender’s Tavern Jan. 13 and 20.

Whew.
